...My oldest is now a high school senior who is taking college classes as a part of the dual enrollment opportunity at Gloucester County College. My youngest is in his second year of high school. Both have become increasingly independent with their studies - which allows me the time to help other students.

...The best way to understand concepts and how they’re connected is to re-format the information in books and lectures in order to suit our personal style. I’ve successfully applied that philosophy to my own learning and to teaching others. Consistently, my tutees perform better in subjects once I challenge them to evaluate their learning style and tailor information to it.
