...My approach consists on making students identify, sing, and write melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic material in increasing levels of difficulty. Thus, students are expected to move from intervals, chords, and quarter notes to melodic motifs, chord progressions, and rhythmic patterns. In the end, students should be able to copy entire musical pieces by ear.
