Teaching was my first choice as career before I gave it up when there was a shortage of teaching jobs. I averaged 90th percentile on the MCAT before I gave that up for lack of money. I've taught Basic Life Support (CPR) for the Red Cross, was formerly certified as an EMT, and worked as a fire fighter and tanker crewman for the USFS.
