I also have experience teaching western civilization and ancient history. I have tutored students in SAT writing and reading for several years.

...I have taught and or tutored all of these languages since 1952. Italian was the first foreign language that I learned, starting at the age of six, as the language we spoke at home was Sicilian. The second foreign language I learned was Latin, starting at the age of 10.

...I am a student and future educator. I graduated with my BA in 2011, did a one year MPhil at Cambridge University in England, and am currently working on my teaching certification. I eventually plan to do a PhD in Education focusing on the teaching of non-spoken languages and second language acquisition.
