I am an ESL professor in the Seattle Community College District, where I have been working for seventeen years. I absolutely love teaching; helping students weave an understanding of this difficult, yet uniquely beautiful tapestry we call English. In addition to my ESL teaching experience with adults, I also have four years tutoring and two years professional teaching kids K-12.

...My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help students learn to proofread their own works, but I am also happy to work with students in the short term on a particular paper or set of papers. I have been tutoring the ACT since 2003, and have helped students from all different scoring ranges. The ACT is one of my favorite standardized tests, and I love to make it less scary for my students.

...Organic Chemistry was covered in my high school. When I attended Washington State University, I was placed directly into O-Chem; where I earned A's in lecture and lab. Immediately following the class, I was selected by the WSU Chem department to be an O-chem peer-tutor (a tutorial instructor). I hold a BS in Chem E (GPA 3.7) with minors in Mathematics and Material Science Engineering.
