I've been teaching college geology lectures and laboratories for over 17 years. In addition, I have been doing community outreach (teaching elementary and high school geology) for the past 5 years. I am a licensed Professional Geologist in the State of California and I am an environmental consultant.We will study oceanography, weather and climate.

...I completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering that focused partly on Numerical Modeling in MATLAB. I've written code in MATLAB to solve ordinary and partial differential equations. I'm familiar with "for" loops, "while" loops, "if else" statements, function declaration, cellular arrays, random number generation, and more.

...Once the techniques are understood and students know when to use them, then the mechanisms can be better understood. I am capable of discussing both Anabolic and Catabolic reactions involved in metabolism. I have a strong grasp of the biochemistry seen in the digestion of the four macromolecules and how it ties into cellular respiration.
