...I have found that the most important thing in tutoring physics and math is to explain the relationship between math and the real world. Without understanding the real world significance, math and physics can seem abstract and intimidating. My goal in tutoring is always to explain the context of the math, so that a student is better prepared to apply it to unfamiliar situations in the future.
