Nomenclature and Lewis Dot products help the student understand the structures and similarities in many chemical compounds that are used daily. Microsoft excel is a great tool that can be used for many different applications.

...I explain the methods to the student and show examples of calculations, then I ask the student to explain the subject in their own words as if they were teaching it to me. I observe the student working out problems and I point out where and why they make mistakes. All of my algebra students have achieved their goals in a short period of time.
