...I have successfully taught Prealgebra/Algebra over 25 years to both Jr. high and high school Sp. Ed. students. I have use a wide variety of methods and materials to help students pass these subjects.

...I majored in History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and also achieved an Associates in Science from Parkland Community College. For my Associates degree, I studied mostly chemistry and math, but also physics and biology. For my history major, I mostly studied European History, but also took many classes in U.S. and Ancient History.

...Although learning for each student is different, ESL depends on instruction in Sheltered Content, which focuses on visual, oral, and kinesthetic (active) scaffolding. I also utilize a student's native language for comprehension. I base instruction on scientific research and focus on the interests/needs of my students by preparing lessons that address goals set by my students.

My name is Chris. I am a Graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Public Health (Pre-Med). I have a background heavily focused on Sciences along with several Math classes, which requires a lot of Computer use and Proficiency.
