If you're struggling with Latin, you're not alone. Many students find the language challenging - but you don't have to be one of them! Latin is often taught with the "grammar-translate" method: students learn grammar by memorizing charts and rules and then try to decode Latin text using the rules they've (hopefully) internalized.

I am finishing my PhD in Greek and Latin this winter. I have taught full course loads of Greek and Latin for three years at the University (beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels) and have also been a tutor for freshmen for several more. In addition, I have been nominated for teaching awards and am currently an on-call Latin faculty member at a local private school.
