I am working on my PhD in Classics from the University of Pittsburgh, while living in the Bay Area. I have received my Master's in Classics from UPitt and graduated cum laude from Pomona College with a double major in Classics and Geology. I have taught college-level Latin, semesters 1-3 as a TA and TF in Pittsburgh, as well as courses in classical mythology and Roman civilization.

...As you can see from my tutor profile, I am not a dedicated violin teacher, but I have added violin teaching to my sessions with existing students. I have found that besides learning to play, the student exercises her mind when playing. The mind learns to pay just enough attention to many different aspect of playing, which helps with other multi-faceted tasks such as advanced math problems.

I have spent 23 years studying the Bible, its origins, how it differs cross culturally and what the anthropological record shows as a means of proving the data it contains.
