I tutored math, chemistry and physics at Pima Community College for five years. A combination of strong communication skills, patience, and knowledge of mathematics give me the ability to help those who lack the confidence and skills needed to turn math into a friend instead of a foe. ...Naturally, writing skills are dependent upon reading skills. Children tend to learn primarily through imitation, so time spent in reading will build both vocabulary and the ability to write clear and proper sentences. I will also work with the student in learning the parts of speech and how to construct a complete sentence.
