...With regards to reading, it is important that students connect with the text. I emphasize on students writing down any connections they make with the text, by using Double-Entry Diaries, regardless of the subject they are studying. I have over 300 hours of experience tutoring elementary-age students, including a great deal of time tutoring Spanish-speaking elementary-age students.

...When I took a math class on Differential Equation (DiffEq), I thought it was easier to understand than Calculus. In this DiffEq class, I learned about how to solve first-order differential equations that describe systems such as population growth and the harmonic oscillator. These differential equations even involve imaginary numbers and eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
