I worked for 7 years as a special education assistant, specializing in children with ADD and dyslexia. My husband is dyslexic and one son is dyslexic. I also home schooled my four sons till middle school.

Greetings! I am a community college chemistry instructor who enjoys helping students "see the light" when it comes to chemistry. For many students, chemistry is an uphill slugfest.

...Started with Organic Chemistry and expanded to include Algebra through Calculus and most of the sciences. I was well liked by most of my students and was asked by them to help with other subjects (such as English or Music) that I had to decline. Mostly my working premise is that the student can learn the material.

Other people may be excited about the subject and would like to learn additional information not covered in much detail in class.
