But most recently, I have enjoyed the opportunity to receive formal tutor training while working for San Francisco State University's Learning Assistance Center for undergraduate students.

I tutor from the perspective that mastery is not knowing all the right answers, but asking the right questions. Especially in science and math, taking the right approach is far more important than the solution for any one problem. I graduated from UCLA with a degree in psychobiology, and have been tutoring chemistry, biology, and math students from high school to college level.
