...I've taken 2 years of chemistry, both inorganic and organic. My organic chemistry course was taught by an instructor that is well known for his skill in the subject, students attending other universities often choose to come to Cabrillo to take the course. I love chemistry almost as much as I do biology and as my students could tell you I'm very passionate about the topic.

...I took and passed the CBEST on the first try and I hold a clear single subject credential in the state of California. I have authorizations to teach Physics, Chemistry, Geoscience, Industrial Arts, and Math. I hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.

...After tutoring elementary students, I moved onto middle school and high school tutoring, where I specialized in math and science. Again, I had great success in helping students move past their blocks by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. I also tutored fellow college students in writing, math and science while in college.

I am a language fanatic. Grammar, usage, spelling...this is my passion (which can also mean my pet peeve)!I can proofread in a glance, and edit with a quick perusal. As for math, I am a whiz, as are all my brothers...from the aeronautical engineer to the computer programmer.
