...ADD/ADHD kids apprear to be more aware of what is going on around them an every level, and so subdivide their thought processes among those things crying for attention. When force is applied and the child's nose is forced to the grindstone, the desired effect is seldom achieved. If a teacher or tutor creates an environment where the student is "allowed" to learn, the results quickly change.
