...I use the Socratic method a lot, asking the student questions and building on the response. I did some Skin diving from 1966 to 1975, and back packing from 1969 to 1975, mostly in the Olympics. I've also done some sailing, both cruising and racing.

...Then when I entered college I was a teaching assistant for an engineering class and I helped the students learn JavaScript and HTML. I also worked on a software model of an engineering system where we used Fortran code. Soon after that I spent about 9 months working with a small team to develop a video game in C that ran in the Windows console environment.
