...My experience working with students has been in various private, public as well as charter schools. Growing up in south Texas as a young Indian girl, I spent much of my time competing and preparing for extracurricular math competitions throughout the academic year as well as during the summers. The other part of my life was dedicated to reading, as I believe reading is the key to learning.

There is always more than one way to solve a math problem! As a former math teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Stanford and a Master's degree in Teaching from American, I know that there are infinite ways to approach math problems. I also know that exploring many methods is the best way to build conceptual understanding of math.
