I am a graduate school educated classicist (MA from UCLA) with extensive experience tutoring in the ancient languages, ancient history, and writing and study skills. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude from Williams College, and currently work as a high school teacher at a prestigious private school. I love to teach and am known by my students as approachable, fun, and down-to-earth.

...I graduated with my BA in 2011, did a one year MPhil at Cambridge University in England, and am currently working on my teaching certification. I eventually plan to do a PhD in Education focusing on the teaching of non-spoken languages and second language acquisition. I am always looking for ways to improve my teaching and I enjoy the challenge of working with new students.

I have just finished my PhD in materials science/nanotechnology at Hunter College in NYC. As part of my studies I taught organic chemistry laboratories, general chem laboratories and recitation classes for organic chemistry laboratory receiving great feedback and evaluations. I also won an award as outstanding TA in the Dept. of Chemistry.
