...Since my nephew has Aspergers, I am very familiar with their needs. In the classroom, I use several techniques including overlays, colored paper, and special fonts to try to help students with dyslexia. The new state assessment, STAAR, is still a bit of a mystery, but I have received extensive training on preparing students for the STAAR test.

...I also write analytic and critical essays as well which are primarily what writing tests are geared toward. Logical structuring of ideas and sound but not overly complex sentence construction are key to excelling in the SAT Writing portion and similar tests. I have a B.F.A. in Creative Writing which is a Fine Arts degree.
