I've been teaching college geology lectures and laboratories for over 17 years. In addition, I have been doing community outreach (teaching elementary and high school geology) for the past 5 years. I am a licensed Professional Geologist in the State of California and I am an environmental consultant.We will study oceanography, weather and climate.

...After a bit, I've learned that the knowledge I gain from teaching is more along the lines of how to teach... how to re-image concepts into easier to understand ideas. Since then I've tutored groups and individuals on and off depending on class schedules. I believe in a free-form tutoring, where we start at homework and go back.

...I love working with kids, which is shy I'm pursuing a career in education. There is a self satisfaction I get out of helping others to better themselves, and knowing that I was able to play a part in that means a lot to me. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not an expert in any one particular field, to be so I feel a masters degree in that respective field is required.
