...I have studied mathematics through calculus, differential equations, and partial differential equations in obtaining my BA and BS degrees in chemical engineering from Rice University. I have assisted both FBISD and LCISD students in Geometry. I took 4 semesters of physics in college.

...I received a 5 on my AP Chemistry exam and a 700 on my SAT Chemistry Subject Test. Also I took an additional year of General Chemistry at Duke this fall and received an A in the course. For the past year I have worked at Central Park Elementary School in Durham, NC.

...I love chemistry and I love math. My favorite topics include teaching stoichiometric calculations and word problems. I feel one-on-one tutoring is best so I can determine exactly the knowledge level of the student and guide them forward from there.

...Over the course of my college career I have changed majors several times as I continued to learn about myself and reevaluate my goals for the future. Throughout this process I have completed calculus I 3 times, the most recent of which was in the fall of 2011.
