I am a Junior at the University of Oklahoma, and I have a passion for learning. I have a 3.84 GPA, and I am completing a mathematics minor along with my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have excelled in school for my whole life, and I love to teach others.

...Not only was I able to provide a personal experience for the students I helped, but I was able to study their strengths and weaknesses and develop an effective approach and lesson plan to help them perform as well as I knew they could. My approach is to be open with the students in relation to their effort. As a tutor you are only as capable as the student is willing to learn.

...I would love to work with middle to high school age children, and offer them excellent career and college advice. I'm also open to tutoring younger children with basic reading, writing and math skills if needed. In addition, I can tutor students to prepare for the SATs or PSATs.

As a certified math teacher in Cy-Fair and as a tutor, I believe that anyone can learn and understand math. Those problems that appear complicated are just a series of simple concepts. Typically, if math is complicated it's because the method of instruction is complicated.
