...In high school,I often helped my classmates with their math homework. When I became a college adjunct professor, besides teaching English, I taught developmental algebra to students who had not been able to pass the math entrance exam. I found it very rewarding and the students claimed that my patient explanations helped them understand equations for the very first time.
