...I'm currently a pastor with my own church in the Pleasanton area and am looking for a side job while finishing my masters degree at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. I've also been a youth pastor and worked with junior high and high school students for over 9 years. My strengths as a teacher are founded upon my ability to build a personal relationship with the students that I tutor.

...I have noticed with students as well as myself that once you understand something, such as how electrons move in Organic Chemistry reactions, memorization is not needed. You will understand the actual concept, which is much more important. For less conceptual subjects such as math I stand by the quote "Practice makes perfect," because indeed that is the case.
