...I have taken a semester of Discrete Mathematics and received an A in it. I have also tutored it for over a year. With the exception of Operations Research and Information Theory, I am very comfortable and adept at teaching many of the topics covered in a typical Discrete Mathematics course, from Probability, Set Theory, and Number Theory, to Geometry, Topology and Finite-Difference Calculus.

...Since I hold a degree in Latin, I am more comfortable in this area of study. In dealing with such a difficult language, I like to strengthen a student's foundation in the English language first, so that the subtle mechanics of Latin are recognized and understood more easily. My student would learn Latin vocabulary and the influence of the Latin language on English vocabulary.

...Latin based upon extensive academic research on SAT and ACT scores will boost scores at a level higher than any other language. The cultural connection from the Greco-Roman cultures and our modern culture is very close which will help in other subjects and courses. In my teaching career, I have taught high school classes in World History, World Geography and American Government.
