Hello all! My name is Fallon, and I hope that you consider me as your tutor! After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Florida, I worked in neurosurgery as a tech helping guide the surgeon and ensure that the patient's nervous system was intact.

I am a college student currently pursuing my BA in mathematics. I have a strong passion for math and I would like to teach at the secondary level or post-secondary level one day. I have passed the AP Calculus AB exam; hence I am currently taking advance courses in math (I am only a sophomore). Due to the fact that I do not have a degree, I charge very little.

...I want my students to like the subject they are taking and actually understand it. I can go at a pace that the student feels most comfortable in and I will show them how to work out problems the easiest way. I am aware that most teachers go too fast and skip steps as they teach so I try not to do that with the student.

...In high school I was on my school's math team where we competed at many competitions at several different levels. I have placed on both national and state competitions. And finally, I have the ability to teach Japanese as a foreign language.

...I am very patient and believe in teaching by example. My general teaching strategy is the following: I generally cover the topic, then explain in detail, make the student do some problems or write depending on the subject, and finally I make them explain and teach the topic back to me. The following meeting, we review the topic once again to prove they mastered it.
