...Classical microeconomics is best learned through its mathematical formulation. It is a beautiful theory and powerful in its applications. The “neoclassical synthesis” of macroeconomics that it still taught in introductory courses is widely viewed as flawed, because it does omits dynamics (time dependence), price stickiness, and monopolistic competition.

...I spent a lot of time after school and during class working one on one with students who needed extra help. I always tried to pay attention and be encouraging. I did not plan on making a career of teaching but I really enjoyed it and I actually miss it.
