...I have been a speaking coach to peers, also. I took the Dale Carnegie course in public speaking while in high school, and minored in Rhetoric (argument and persuasive writing) in college. CompTIAA certified A+ Technician, have taken courses and have been certified in A+.
Also certified in CCNA I hold a B.S. with Honors in Biochemistry.

I currently teach 8th grade physical sciences, although I am also certified in 7-12 General Sciences and 7-12 Biology.
I encourage students to find new ways to connect science education to their everyday lives through their own thought processes, discussion and hands-on activities.

I received my master's in Physics from Drexel University in the summer of 2012 and am currently working on my Ph.D. I took a class in Linear Algebra at Goshen College in spring 2009 and passed with a B.

...I like to vary the learning experiences I use while teaching. I believe that a combination of visual, hearing, and hands-on methods help students to understand different concepts. I make learning fun, incorporating games whenever possible to make the experience enjoyable and relaxed for the student.
