...Vergil and Ovid were important to the Romans in Latin, but they can also be difficult to understand even in English. In terms of tutoring methods, I am happy to work face-to-face, online, over the phone, or through Skype. My preference is face-to-face, because I find that allows for the most effective interaction between tutor and tutee.

...My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help students learn to proofread their own works, but I am also happy to work with students in the short term on a particular paper or set of papers. I have been tutoring the ACT since 2003, and have helped students from all different scoring ranges. The ACT is one of my favorite standardized tests, and I love to make it less scary for my students.
