  • Type: planetary nebula
  • Distance: 3600 ly
  • Not all planetary nebulae are ring-shaped!
  • Note the central star in the HST image.
  • It is believed that the central star is extraordinarily hot, perhaps as much as 200,000 degrees Kelvin (360,000 F).
